mi took my dog in on friday afternoon i told them he had bern poisrned so they gave him a few jabs they gave him jabs to stop him going sick ,wer as i thought they would ov wnted him to be sick, to bring up any poisen still in his system he had been sick witch iv kept so that wen my head is bk to normallish . i eill get it tested or at least ask sum 1 wot they think it is so afer paying the vet nesrly 200 quid we went home we wer home not 20 min ,so phned vets bk nd was told to bring him bk in and yes they charged 50 quid just to see him again so this time 600 quid then we went home only to repeat the ssme thing 3 times the next day and again sundsy znd monday on the second visit on mondsy he gave up nd died thrn yhey wer going to get him out the car nd start cpr i was in a rite mess i told the vets u couldnt save him wen hecwas slive and naw u wnt to save him wen he was dead ,it made no sence .the point im mskeing is all thry seemed intrested in was milking me 4 as much as they could i wouldnt ov minded if my dog had pulled thru but to get chargerd 3 times a day for 4 day was is a JOKE they all seemed to lack empathy and the vibe i got was money money yes i know they need paying but not once did i give them any reason to doubt i was going to pay but they wer more intrested in getting the 50 quid consolation fee thsn saveing my dog i will not be reg my other dog ther as im moveing anyway 1950 vet fees and 385 to have him cremated ....thanks mum as with out u i would ov srrugled so love u mum nd thanks again xx towy vets suck ....

Definitely would not recommend!! Went in with our cat that passed away, to confirm it was ours using the microchip, they checked using one system said it wasnt our cat giving us false hope. Then a few minutes later checked a different system to turn round and say yes it is our cat that passed away! Useless! The emotional roller coaster they put us on! Awful!

Our Blue Staffie "MASON" is only 18 months old and has been attending Towy Vets since 6 months old. Two eye operations and one Intestinal operation, plus several consultations later and we are overjoyed to report that he is now in full health. The service from all the staff, and vets Lee and Renee, has been impeccable. So glad we registered him with Towy Vets and trusted them for Mason,s medical needs. We would not hesitate to highly recommend them 110%.

I have two cats and the care they are given is wonderful and the staff are so friendly I wouldn’t go anywhere else . Been there 9/10 years now

We have been using Towy Vets for eight years or so and our pets always receive the best care. Gemma, the receptionist, is very welcoming and friendly anytime we need to attend. We have dealt with numerous vets and nurses at the practice (Arianne, Renee, Melyssa and Rachel to name a few) who remain professional and thorough when examining our boys. I have so much confidence in the care they provide, whether we're attending for a routine appointment or something more in-depth. Allways a great experience with these vets, I don't know why I have not left a review beforehand. The compassion I received when my partner's dog died 2yr ago was amazing, they did everything they could and with genuine heart, we even received a condolences card signed by the staff. My heart was very touched by that..Thank You. My wife has always had pets and now we have a new puppy and the thought of going anywhere else just don't come into mind. Keep doing what you do, Your amazing all of you.
