From the latest reviews available to us, owners describe a mix of experiences: some report being fitted in quickly for urgent problems (one review mentions being seen within the hour for a wasp sting, with updates on the wait and the sting found/treated), while others describe difficulty accessing appointments and frustration with phone/administrative handling (including being told to call back at a set time to try for held-back appointments). Several negative reviews focus on perceived high pricing and concerns about unnecessary testing or treatment being suggested.

Been with this practice for around 17 years they do not seem to care about the animals they only seem interested in the money they can make of them prolonging suffering. I have moved to a different vet. Would never recommend.

Never have i experienced a veterinary practise that charges such extortionate prices, this would be justifiable if the care for pets was outstanding with compassion and care considered for each animal that enters the door, although from what i have experienced on multiple occasions this is far from the case. Animals that are clearly suffering with little quality of life left are expected to be, or put through unnecessary testing leading to further unnecessary suffering for what appears to be financial gain. Myself and many others have moved to other veterinary clinics. Do not recommend.

Friendly service and fully accept paying for a consultation fee to check my dog for all of 5 minutes but then sold eye medication which can be bought EXACTLY the same over the counter in a pharmacy for a 10 th of the price is just complete robbery! Disgusting! Why is it so many people think they can steal from working people. Since this incident I’ve heard they quoted a friend £300 more than a very good vet in Gorsienon for the same tooth treatment! Unbelievable. Shame too cus the staff in branch are lovely but clearly the people running it are just greedy.

I am leaving a honest and fair review, based on our experience over 5 years. We have had some really positive experiences with our two 13 year old dogs with this practice, but sadly, recently a not so good experience. The trained staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. The problem seems to be in a few blips in the administrative side. People have told us they are not happy and taken their animals elsewhere, but we remained loyal. Sadly we lost our first dog last year but at no fault of the treatment she received. Our remaining dog was a strong girl and we expected her to live on for a lot longer. She suddenly became unwell and I was taken aback by the phone call I made at 3.55 to the practice on a Wednesday afternoon. 7th May. I tried to get through four times but the phone was not answered. So I chose the emergency line. I asked for an appointment the next day. I was told there were no appointments. Without asking what the problem was I was then told I had to ring at 8.30. They told me they hold back appointments but I could not be given one unless I rang at 8.30. I then said but you have not asked me what is wrong with our dog. I told her how worried we were about our her and her symptoms. She huffed and went to ask someone. I felt very uncomfortable. I was then 'clearly' informed that I would have to wait until 8.30 (and ring again) to see if they could fit her in the next day ...but there were no guarantees. We never went back but instead sought urgent support another way. Sadly we had to say goodbye to our darling girl a few days later and feel very let down by our last interaction from this practice. In particular the 'uncaring' member of staff that day. One person can ruin a business. Customer care training is clearly needed.

When our dog got stung by a wasp unexpectedly you were able to find us an available appointment within the hour. I was kept up to date with the number of pre-scheduled appointments were in front of us and when we were seen the care was fantastic especially as you were able to find the sting still in him. He was certainly feeling sorry for himself for the rest of the day, but is fine thankfully.
