Marlow Vets describes itself as an independently owned, family veterinary practice led by Glenn and Caroline Marlow, treating dogs, cats and rabbits. From the latest reviews, owners most often describe hands-on medical and surgical care (including an operation with inpatient stays in the clinic’s cattery, with visiting rights), plus clear treatment plans for injuries and recovery. Practical paperwork support is also mentioned, with one client paying £200 for an animal health certificate after guidance on what information was needed from their overseas vet. While many reviews emphasise compassion (including end-of-life support), one recent review alleges empathy has fallen away alongside increased focus on money.
4.6 stars from 396 reviews. The latest written reviews available to us include detailed accounts of surgery/inpatient care, injury work-ups, travel paperwork, and end-of-life support, alongside one complaint about perceived focus on money. “”

Huge thank you for the care given to my cat Frida over the festive period. A remarkably rapid recovery due to the excellent care and compassion shown by the whole team.

Customer service and empathy seemed to dissipate in parallel to a heightened enthusiasm for chasing the £££

We were on our way to the ferry to Spain when we looked at the pet passport and realised it was the wrong one! As we live on the Isle of Skye it was a long way home to find the other one! Marlow vets were amazing. They told us what info they needed from our Spanish vet, and were very patient and kind. £200 later we had an animal health certificate l. Yes we had to re-book for a later ferry, but we did not need to drive all the way back to Skye. Worth every penny and 11/10 for being so helpful and accommodating. I would totally recommend.

Brilliant vets - couldn't recommend them enough. When Luna, my cat, stopped eating and became very lethargic, they pulled out all the stops to find out the issue. It did take a couple of visits, one operation and a couple of stays in their cattery (with visiting rights for me) but (fingers crossed) she's now on the mend. The care and attention to both Luna and one very anxious cat mum were second to none. Special shout out to Will (sorry about her gas problem!) and Izzy. Don't take this the wrong way but I hope it's a while before she needs to visit you all again. 😸😸

This is the only place I am happy to take my 2 cats. It is out of area for me but worth the trip, they are always amazing and not to mention saved my one cats life after he for unknown reasons couldn’t use any of his limbs. Thank you again Marlows although a thank you could never be enough!

Took my dog Marlie in with an injured leg, and the vet was very thorough, examining joints, muscles & the whole leg to find the cause. She was very clear on the plan for medicine & recovery which took several minths but now we're climbing (mini) mountains!

I just wanted to express a heartfelt thank you to the team at Marlow Vets. Thank you for the wonderful service you provided to Milly. The whole team were incredibly kind, sensitive and understanding when treating Milly for her health condition with excellent pre and post operative care. And later when Milly sadly reached the end stage of her life, we could not have wished for kinder and more comforting support from Will and the Marlow team. Milly received the utmost respect and Will ensured that her final journey was gentle and peaceful. So again, thank you Will and all your lovely staff for an incredible service.
