Pen Y Graig is presented in the available data as a campground/glamping stay (not a veterinary clinic). Reviews repeatedly describe self-contained accommodation (including shepherd’s huts and a barn conversion) with a strong focus on privacy and dog-friendliness—for example, multiple guests mention individual fields/space for dogs to run, and one review highlights a stable split-door setup that helps keep dogs safely inside while letting fresh air in. Hosts are named in reviews (Guy and Julia), with specific examples like pre-heating the hut before arrival and going out of their way to help during a guest’s stay.

Such a beautiful & secluded place. Stayed there over the weekend during a storm and felt so cosy and peaceful. The owners are incredibly welcoming, would recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere to escape to the countryside for a while!

Nice friendly owners, Guy went out of the way to help. Silly sheep kept getting it head stuck in the fence🤣

An amazing place to stay, such a peaceful location, friendly staff that go above and beyond for your needs, very clean and perfect little getaway. Took my puppy and 4year old so with a field for personal use attached really helped with space for them to run their legs off. Close to lots of nature walks and hikes. Will definitely be booking again.

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed in the new barn conversion which was just what we needed. It had lovely views from the well thought out large windows. We could sit and drink our morning coffee looking out over the countryside. It was very tastefully furnished and lovely and warm. A great retreat! The owners are really friendly and we got to see 2 newly born goats as well as their other animals. They know their stuff!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for time out, either alone or with family. It is great for children…. Thanks 😊

We stayed at Top of the Rock Glamping for 4 days in December. We stayed in a beautiful Shepherd's Hut which all have their own bathroom's with a shower and flushing toilet. In the living area is your bed at one end (very comfortable), a kettle etc with a microwave, fridge and a table with two chairs. The heater is very good and the hut is really well insulated. When we arrived Guy (the host) had already put the heater on so the hut was warm and cosy. We actually stayed through a gale with 60 mph winds and the hut was as solid as a rock. The two floor to ceiling windows either side of the door give you stunning panoramic views of the countryside in which Guy and Julia's farm is situated. The door is such that you can open the top half and pin it back (especially useful in warmer months) which means if you have a dog, you can have the air coming in but not worry about the dog/s getting out. Each hut has its own area with its own individual field for walking your dog/s. There is no one else in front of you at all! Complete privacy.. Outside is a barbeque with wood, a table and chairs. Such a relaxing and revitalising environment. We loved the location. Also if you fancy eating out where you can be guaranteed good ingredients there is a good Jamaican restaurant in Newtown 20 minutes away which serves food using the produce from Guy and Julia's farm. Home cooked food with great ingredients. Guy will tell you how to get there! We highly recommend staying at this farm, absolutely wonderful.
