Both of our beautiful dogs are under Riverside 1 for 10 years Macey & 1 for 6 Frankie, both always shown such love and care on visits. On Friday our most beloved 10year old girl passed at home and when I spoke to Connor first thing Saturday he was wonderful and on arrival with Macey he showed real compassion and read our feelings so well. I just wanted to say Riverside and it's staff show true love and care to our animals in life and death. We will be forever greatful for your help at this awful time.

Good in the general scheme of things but charging almost 40% more for cat worming and tick spot on compared to pet stores or online is pretty poor imo. Can't recommend for that reason.

A very disappointing response from Riverside Vets when a puppy turned up at Cantref Primary school during school pick up. We managed to catch it and hang around to wait and see if any one showed up looking for it but nobody did. As Riverside Vets was closest I was recommended to take her there. A friend kindly looked after my son whilst I delt with the puppy. On arrival at Riverside I explained what had happened and they checked to see if the dog was tagged but unfortunately it wasn't. They then told me that the dog was now my responsibility and that if I left it there I would be abandoning the dog. I was very shocked by the response. I explained I couldn't take it home as I already have a dog but they said I needed to ring those dog pound. I understand it is a tricky situation for all involved and it required everyone to go above and beyond but a really disappointing community spirit from Riverside Vets. Fortunately after I had walked out (quite upset by their response, and having abandoned the puppy) the owner arrived in their car. I walked back in to explain this was the owner and someone tried to start lecturing me again but I didn't stay to hear it. A really upsetting experience.

The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. They clearly love dogs and put both my dog and us at ease. I clearly made the right choice in switching to this practice. Would definitely recommend.
