Murphy and Co Veterinary Practice

Services

• •Routine and preventive care: General day-to-day veterinary care is reflected in reviews about consultations, vaccinations, and advice. The mobile vet service remains a notable feature, with Fiona specifically praised for vaccinating a shy, nervous dog in a way that helped rebuild trust.
• •Surgery and procedures: Reported procedures include neutering, laparoscopic spay, tumour removal, dental work, cat surgery, and surgery to remove a ferret lump. Recent feedback is especially positive about pre-op explanations, the procedure itself, and post-op support.
• •Exotics and other pets: The practice is used for more than cats and dogs, with reviews mentioning ferrets and a bearded dragon tail amputation. Recent exotic-pet feedback is particularly strong, praising both clinical knowledge and compassionate handling.
• •Emergency and clinical support: Emergency veterinary services are listed, with 24/7 or extended-hours cover mentioned, although the exact out-of-hours arrangement is not specified here. Recent reviews also mention pets being seen urgently when complications developed.
• •Training facility: The practice is listed as a veterinary nurse training facility.

Pricing

Available published prices indicate the clinic sits above average relative to similar practices. Reviews focus much more on the quality of care, reassurance, and support than on cost, so pricing is not a major theme in recent feedback.
