Boverton Veterinary Surgery is a small-animal practice where reviews most often describe routine preventative care (vaccinations, boosters, flea/worming support) alongside sensitive end-of-life support. Owners repeatedly mention staff taking extra time with nervous dogs—one detailed account describes a fearful foster dog being calmly weighed and examined after staff worked to build trust. Other specific touches noted include singing to a dog during a booster jab, and explaining procedures with a cost breakdown before going ahead. There is at least one recent 1‑star rating with no written detail available to explain the issue.
Services and situations explicitly mentioned in the available information include
Google rating: 4.4 stars from 50 reviews.

Emma and her team are fantastic. We lost our much loved Betty yesterday, they couldn’t have been kinder to either Betty or us. All contact that we have ever had with the practice has been first class. Thank you ❤️

This veterinary practice is brilliant! I have been 100% happy and trust them implicitly to care for my dogs. Today was no exception. I am currently fostering a mixed breed dog, Spotty, from Romanian (Amicili dog rescued). She is naturally a very nervous and anxious little girl. I have had her since 19/11/23 and while she has made a lot of progress, she remains naturally very fearful of unfamiliar people, barking and backing away from them. Spotty needed to be weighed for her flea and worming treatment, and a check over by the vet. I also took my spaniel Nia as company. Spotty didn't hesitate, as I had anticipated, going into the practice and I attribute this to the calm atmosphere of the surgery made by all the staff. I cannot thank the vet Mirac and veterinary nurse Tracey enough for their quiet, caring patience and the time they took to gain Spottys confidence. They were amazing, not just with Spotty but also Nia (whose mission was to snaffle any stray treats!). Mirac was able to examine Spotty. I was overwhelmed as I had anticipated Spottys resistance and the whole experience being stressful for her. I don't know how long Spotty will be with me before she finds her forever home, but if she needs to visit the veterinary practice again, I hope she will remember today's positive experience. Thank you all so very much.

Excellent service for my elderly moggy, he needed vaccination and a checkup. Vet and service from reception were 5*. Prices have risen but not to much .

Great care given by staff towards my cat. Suitable parking provided but there is overspill as they are next to a Greggs. Staff are very competent and knowledgeable. Procedures explained and costs broken down prior to any action being taken. Vet priority is what is right for the pet but keeps owners fully informed. Good aftercare as well.
