Took my pup Otis for his second vaccine today , it was super quiet, empty in fact, but within 30 seconds of us walking in the room the vet went to vaccinate my very lively pup, she attempted maybe 4 times & pricking his skin each time, there was absolutely no rush & this could of been handled far more compassionately & slower.. It was pretty horrific seeing my boy Otis be handled this way.. Surely get the pup more settled before attempting multiple times.. I left not feeling very confident if it was even administered correctly & once I'd left the vets I was so emotional & I won't be having further vaccines there

Just want to say how thankful we are that you gave our boy one last chance to see us before he passed this weekend. You saved his life the first time, and im so glad you did what you did. It’s sad that there was too much damage to get him home to us in the end. Thank you for everything you do.

Absolutely appalling vets . No care or help at all . I’m so annoyed with the vets here . Every time I need help they don’t and they rather you get rid of your dog than help . There are better vets out there. Manager called today about my complaint and explained everything more or less said I was taking it wrong . Wow I don’t think so . The vet who seen my dog couldn’t even write the report tidy , it’s Barry island not Barry Ireland haha . And it’s escape not scape . Very unprofessional. Took my money quick enough though . Absolutely ashamed of you

First visit to Maes Glas vets, Barry on 21.08.25 with our new Jack Russell puppy for vaccine and chipping. It was a good experience all round from my initial phone call to book her in, arrival and then her treatment. Our pup left very happy and not at all bothered following treatment. We've previously used this Vets with our old Jack and always found it to provide a very good service.

Maes Glas vets Barry ….simply the best vets that we have ever experienced … from the front of house to the vet the service is exemplary. You are met with a smile and no matter what your visits entails the empathy starts there. Both my precious little Yorkshire Terriers Mitzi Moo and Ozzie receive the best treatment from all the staff. Staff very friendly & always have time for you while attending the practice. Reception & consulting rooms extremely clean & tidy along with the weighing area. We have attended this practice for many years & have always been happy with the treatment all our dogs have received from Sara & other attending Vets.
