⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Care When We Needed It Most While on holiday in Wales, our little Jack Russell, Rex, became quite poorly. Being so far from home was naturally worrying, so we searched online and found Williams Vets in Barmouth. From the moment we called, the service was outstanding. Linda, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful, kind and empathetic. She asked all the right questions and quickly arranged an appointment for us, making us feel calm and reassured especially when we needed it most. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and were seen by the vet very quickly. The vet immediately put us at ease, was reassuring and professional, and earned our trust straight away. She took great care of Rex and explained everything clearly. Rex was given an injection to help settle his tummy, along with some paste and digestive food to support his recovery. Since the appointment we've already seen a significant improvement. As visitors to Wales Williams Vets provided everything we could have hoped for: expert care, genuine compassion, reassurance and excellent customer service. We can absolutely see why they receive so many five-star reviews. We can't recommend Williams Vets highly enough. Thank you to Linda and the whole team for taking such wonderful care of Rex. ❤️🐾

Absolutely brilliant care. They squeezed Coco in, even though they were already really busy, and helped her so much. Super kind staff, really understanding, and I left feeling so relieved. Highly recommend.

Very helpful and understanding. We were on holiday in Barmouth and realised our groomer and month or so ago had missed clipping one of our dogs rear dew claws. We realised this was giving in bother, it was growing inward and jagged him a few times while running etc. Even though we didn't have an appointment and their appointments were fully booked out, they took the time to clip the dew claw and also check his other rear dew claw. Thanks so much

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Williams Vets in Barmouth. We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our little dog to sleep at home. In our state of distress, we didn't manage to catch the name of the lady who came to our house, but we felt compelled to share how wonderful she was. She treated our dog—and both of us—with such incredible kindness, dignity, and respect. She didn’t rush us at all, allowing us the time we needed to say goodbye, and showed genuine empathy for our feelings. Thank you for making an impossibly difficult day a little bit easier through your professionalism and care. It meant the world to us."

I have just registered with this veterinary practice. I am presently without a car so I have to have all out to see to my very elderly greyhound Laura. Emma came out to examine Laura. She's very kind caring and passionate about the welfare of her 4 legged patients. Thank you Emma and all the surgery staff . You have put my mind at rest after the blood test. I will recommend you .

We recently had to have our little friend Bud our cavvie put to sleep because of his long term medical condition. John was absolutely brilliant treating Bud with such compassion and treating me with kindness. The vets arranged for Buds cremation and his ashes were returned to us in a beautiful little casket. We also received a condolence card from the practice with some wonderful sentiments. I can recommend Williams vets to anyone in Barmouth. Absolutely the best vet practice I’ve ever used.
