Zero stars. Exotic pet owners, avoid. Rushed here out of hours because they said they can treat birds. Only during my triage did they tell me they don't know much about birds, at which point it was too late for me to back out. Ended up getting a stool sample for them to send off so as to not completely waste my money and time. They never sent it off, didn't find out until we chased results over a week later. To add insult to injury they insisted I pay them £35 on top of the vet fees for administrative costs to deal with my insurer when I still had to do all the paperwork myself. Then they ignored my insurer for weeks until they threatened to permanently close my claim entirely. Absolute headache on top of everything else. My bird died a few weeks later. I'm not going to lay the blame entirely at Vets Now's door, but had we not had to delay his treatment due to the lost sample, he might have had a better prognosis. Editing to add a response to VN's reply. I was told by the receptionist that I HAD to pay the £35 fee if I was going to make an insurance claim, regardless of whether it is a reimbursement or a direct claim. Nothing about this standard of quality malarkey. No other vet has ever charged me for this, so make sure you go to a different vet and save your money. The fact VN claim I paid £35 for what essentially boils down to the vet's seal of approval when they knew absolutely nothing about birds and failed to do the bare minimum expected from a vet would be laughable if it hadn't had such severe ramifications for my bird. Pathetic.

Amy the vet at Newport branch on Saturday 17 August was so lovely in what was a stressful situation when I recently took my dog in after she swallowed fishing line. Amy was reassuring and communicated what would be happening every step of the way. Happy outcome for my dog who is now perfectly fine. Thank you Amy.

Bianca the vet was absolutely exceptional this weekend, when we took in our poorly cat Otto. Bianca was super thorough, reassuring, calm and very clearly someone who cares about getting your pets care right! She talked us through all of the different risks associated in plain English, without complicating things and even talked us through measures she would NOT take & explained why. She was so kind to our boy and we are so grateful for her advice and help. Luckily Otto managed to overcome his symptoms while we were in the clinic and didn’t end up needing the treatment we had been talked through, but we felt in very safe hands if he had needed the treatment. The vets here work SO hard and are working in extremely difficult circumstances with emergency cases coming in every couple of minutes while we sat in the waiting room. I was sobbing just seeing other animals in pain so I have soo much time and respect for the professionals here. You are all doing amazing work and I really hope you know the difference you make, thank you so much ❤️

Amy, Bianca & the team were not only supportive but they did everything they could to save our chow ghost. Something we will never forget. Would 100% recommend & trust them with all my future pets. Ghost is home now after spending a few days at my mother’s in her bungalow, our other chow Odin hasn’t left him alone since he got back an hour ago. Many thanks to this amazing veterinary team x

We had to take our elderly dog to Vets Now on Bank Holiday Monday after he collapsed, and they were fantastic. There was no messing around on arrival, Jenny the receptionist was amazing and got our dog to the nursing team immediately, who triaged him and got him ready for the vet, gave him meds to make him comfortable and looked after him. The vet owain was lovely, really patient and kind, and answered all of our questions. I was very impressed with the quick, efficient and excellent care our dog recieved.
